Fire Smoke Ventilation System
By using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) , you can predict the fluid flow paths, concentrations of CO, visibility and identify any dead zone for the proposed smoke ventilation system in; Car Parks/Tunnels/Generator Rooms/Atrium…etc. The model (as per the case) and the analysis is conducted in order to meet the international regulations and standards (NFPA) and as well the local one such as Qatar Civil Defense (QCDD). Fire Dynamics Simulator (FDS) is the preferred code to be used.
Maintaining thermal comfort for occupants in any building is one of the important goals of HVAC System. We conduct computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Analysis to make sure that all occupants feel comfort as per acceptable criteria (PMV/PPD/EDT/SET) in ASHRAE55, ISO7730.
Pedestrian Wind Comfort
By using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Simulation Analysis, a multi-directional wind analysis can be run in order to investigate and confirm the level of Pedestrian Wind Comfort in outdoor areas such as; Shopping Malls, Cafes, Running/walking Routs and Urban areas..etc. All this can be done automatically by computing wind comfort criteria including Lawson, Davenport, and NEN8100 in accordance with wind engineering standards.
By applying Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Simulation, wind driven flows that created by buildings such as Downwashing, Channeling, and Corner Acceleration can be studied and analyzed properly. Any consequence on the structural integrity of building, natural ventilation & performance of the outdoor equipment (FAHU / AHU) can be highlighted and analyzed.
One of the major advantages of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Analysis is its ability to verify and validate the product’s performance such as (Air circulation of AC Outdoor Unit/Cooling Tower, Thrust force of Jet fan, Pressure Drop of Air Louvers and Filters, Cooling of LED Lights and much more). Moreover, CFD Simulation can investigate the operation of the whole products as a whole system in different ways: Locations/Orientation.
